Agents of Change
At St Clement's Primary School, being an Agent of Change is woven into our Christian values. The amazing part is, anyone can be an Agent of Change! Whether it's something as simple as popping rubbish in the bin, sharing a warm smile with someone in need, or lending a hand with a task, every little action counts. From reducing our carbon footprints to fundraising for causes close to our hearts, the power to effect positive change is in all of us!
Our pupils are empowered to find their voice and take on roles like School Counsellors, Guiding Lights, Eco Warriors, and Mental Health Champions. We aim for our children to grow into compassionate global citizens, inspired by the teachings of the Bible and engaging in meaningful discussions.
At St Clement's, we celebrate every child's potential to influence their community and champion change!
Fundraising in Reception
At St Clement's our reception class have been learning all about 'endangered animals' and they set the whole school a challenge to take part in 'Wear in Wild'! This involved the children dressing up as an animal or wearing animal print! KS1 and EYFS then had a cake sale after school and raised £86 to sponsor an endangered animal.
We are so proud of the children and the wonderful learning that evolved from this eventful day.
School Council
Thank you to our School Council for writing to Leysdown Parish Council to ask for support for our planting and growing initiatives. We are extremely grateful for their donation of £400 for pots, plants and soil!
Eco Warriors
Thank you to our Eco Warriors from year 3 for writing to Ms Lockwood and requesting recycle bins to help the children and staff to contribute to a greener environment. These bins have made it easier for the children and staff to recycle paper whilst teaching everyone about environmental responsibility, how to reducing landfill waste and conserving resources.
St Clement's School Community
Thank you for all of the fundraising for the Foodbank. We managed to raise £165! We are proud to be part of Aquila school as by clubbing together we managed to raise over £1000 between ourselves, Eastchurch and St Georges.
Amazing Achievements!
The children have supported a primary school in Ghana, West Africa, by donating their unwanted reading books. The children were incredibly excited when we received this photo!
We are extremely proud of the generosity and kindness of our children.
In School Agents of Change!
One of our year six pupils, was so inspired by our 'Endangered Species Day', he decided to explore the different types of animals which are endangered and learn more about these.
Jack set himself a challenge to learn a new skill whilst learning all about elephants.
Jack spent two whole days creating this beautiful crocheted elephant. We are so proud of how hard Jack has worked and the fantastic new skill he has acquired.
Jack has not only inspired the staff at St Clement's but he has inspired the whole school community. He has proved that with determined hearts we can use our god given talents to achieve new skills and talents.
